Studying and scientific research are the most important duties of student. It is possible to say that students' study and scientific research movement are changing vigorously. The honorable awards that our students achieved from National Olympic Contests have spiked enthusiasm to every student in the Faculty of Information Technology and Management. In the year of 2002, a new contest called Creative Information Products to Every Student was launched by the Faculty in order to improve students' skills and experience.

           With the guideline of "Students are trained not only to become skilled engineers but also to ensure that every student at our Faculty has recognized qualification virtually", the contest has been attracting students' attention vigorously. With this contest, students have more chances to enhance their knowledge, develop their creativeness and versatility in real world.

          Moreover, with students' activities for special subjects like English or Informatics, their study movement with self - consciousness is raising actively. Upon the new semester, the Faculty's students will have more opportunities to self - study, improve knowledge, and exchange experience, showing the abilities of Information Technology students of the new millennium.

         Although teachers and students in the Faculty are committed to teaching and study, the sense of letter and arts such as poems and music is never fallen into oblivion. The second contest of "The singing voice of students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Management" was organized successfully from 20/3/2002 to 31/3/2002 with the support of the Faculty's board. There was no vacant seat in the final contest when 48 events hit the House of Cultural for Student.

        Since then, a team of talented people has formed to participate in a festival of the singing voice of students of Hanoi Open University on 26/4/2002. The result was that this team won the second prize. The Informatics Olympic team of the Faculty also was awarded the third prize from National Informatics Olympic Contest in Nha trang at the same time.
     
        These successes were more or less resulted from the constant support of the Dean - Dr. Son who always encourage his students and colleague. His deep knowledge of work and experience have been invaluable. Although always busy with work, he is never absent from student's activities to encourage them. Many thanks to Mr. Dean !
