On-line Learning is a training form that incorporates computer conferencing,
e-mail, computer-based quizzes, and the Internet as an innovative learning
environment.
In traditional learning form, it is also called face-to-face learning,
students get information directly from teachers. One important factor in
teaching-learning process is the two-sided communication between teacher
and students, student and student. Students who are self-educated by
supported materials like textbooks, videotapes, audiotapes, radio,
television... lacking in that two-sided communication.
- On-line learning was set up to create the
two-sided communication between student and virtual teacher or virtual
students via computer networks or Internet.
- On-line training also encourages students'
self-educated consciousness, enables students to reach reliable source of
information that more various than lectures of teacher in class.
- Nowadays, On-line training
is a popular training form over the world. It not only helps self-educated
students, distance-training students in learning but also give a lot of
useful information to students who are pursuing the traditional training
form.
Informatics as well as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry,... is a scientific
branch that has specific fields and methods in studying.
- Graduates with a university degree from any field
in any school are certified a Bachelor degree in accordance with the
definition of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Some traditional
appellations are still in use such as Doctor for graduates from
Medical College, Pharmacist for graduates from College of
Pharmacy, Architect for graduates from architectural departments, Engineer

constructional engineers, mechanical engineers, computer engineers,...
There is not any distinction on grade or training level between Engineer
and Bachelor.
- In the domain of training, however, each
university, each specific faculty may have different training objectives
or traditional training methods. Some specialize in researching theory and
deeply developing their scientific fields. Some specialize in researching
applications or hands-on skills in specific fields...
- Main objectives of the Faculty of IT- Hanoi Open
University is training skilled computer engineers for researching and
applying computer applications in economy, society and life.

Yes, certainly. Most of first-rate computer engineers were grown up owing to self-learning.
- You must have at least a personal computer with
configurations that suits the subjects you desire to learn and detailed
textbooks. Using textbooks, lectures that edited for self-taught learners,
distance training learners is better because of inclusive guide sessions
for self-learning, self-reviewing, self-testing available.
- There is a great deal of software for
self-learning on PC according to main subjects in a college-level syllabus
for highly- qualified technicians training and in a university-level IT
syllabus.
- Connecting to Internet, if possible, will give you
more chances to get useful websites that help you to learn some subjects
very well.
- The most important thing in self-learning is
having strong will, good patience and high determination to gain success.
